Approximate age: She is approximately 7 years old. She recently had blood work done and it all came back normal...so she's healthy!!! She also had a dental so she has clean teeth!
Personality: Lillie is very sweet and calm. She is friendly and gentle with people. She is fine with other dogs and is good with cats. She is a quiet girl that just needs love and assurance. She is a real head turner...she is absolutely beautiful. This breed is rare and highly desirable, but she doesn't know she's a wolfhound. She just wants to live a normal life with a family who will love her forever. Lillie is mostly potty trained (occasionally has accidents due to a sensitive stomach) and walks well on a leash. She will go outside when she needs to, but prefers to stay inside. She doesn't get up on furniture. She prefers a comfy dog bed on the floor. She is very easy going and mild mannered. Lillie will not play with other dogs or with toys. She seeks out attention when she wants it, but otherwise is content laying on a dog bed. She loves being petted and her tail goes like a propeller when she's happy :o)
Forever home: Lillie would do best in a quiet, calm home. Preferably someone that isn't gone for extended periods of time and someone that likes to take leisurely walks. She also likes riding in the car. She needs a home without small children.

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at Petco in Novi (on Novi Rd south of 12 mile) or PetSmart in Canton (the northwest corner of Ford Rd and Haggerty Rd). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
