My Story

Meet Lilli, the happiest little spotted chunk you'll ever find! If you look up "adorable," her picture is sure to be there. Lilli was rescued from an underserved neighborhood in Memphis when she was just six weeks old. Since then, she's been on a journey toward a happy forever home, starting with a loving foster family. Lilli is working on her house training and learning not to jump. She's living with three large dogs and is absolutely fearless around them! She's also been introduced to kittens and showed a gentle curiosity. The children in her foster home absolutely adore her, and the feeling is mutual. Snuggles are her favorite, along with running around in the backyard with the big dogs. She sleeps well in her pen at night and eagerly cries when it's time to start the day. And Lilli is so smart; she already started to go into her pen by herself when it is time to go to bed. Lilli's perfect home would be with a family that has children and/or other dogs she can play with. Tennis balls and leaves are her favorite toys, and she would thrive with a family that can continue teaching her good manners. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate pup to join your family, Lilli is the one for you! ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience. This requirement is for the benefit of you and your puppy, so if you experience behavior issues, you have a point of contact. PLEASE--Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy's life. Do you have the time? Please consider purchasing this book before adopting.
