**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. Meet Lila, a 9-week-old little Shep/Terrier mix up-for-adoption through Homeward Bound Dog Rescue. She got her freedom flight this week from Puerto Rico and is now looking for her home locally in the Albany area! Lila is friendly with everyone—great with dogs and kids. She’s got personality plus and makes her foster family laugh all the time. Lila is still a baby-baby and can only be crated 3-4 hours at a clip during the day before being let out to play/go potty. We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus. We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
