Lightening

We took Lightening from Pet Sense last year when they were shut down for abuse and neglect. She was housed in a portion of the building that wasn't even accessible to people. I had to have someone come to help me move the heavy pens that were blocking me from taking her out of there. She was barking to let us know, "hey, I'm over here." If she hadn't have barked, she might have been lost or forgotten in her remote location. She was left at the "humane society" because her owner moved to a place that they could not have her. This darling lemon Beagle stole our hearts. She is a great lounge dog with enough spunk to keep you enteretained. Even though she is 8 years old, she still has a lot of life in her and certainly a lot of love to give. We adopted her out to a family and they feel that they cannot afford a pet right now due to a financial issue. She likes children and anyone really that will give her some attention. She likes to go for walks and ride in the car. She is housebroken.

Tuesday - Sunday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED TO ADOPT
Yearly membership is $25

Prior to adoption, our animals are:

**Tested for diseases

**Vaccinated

**Spayed/neutered

Adoptions are FREE to members with a $15 administrative fee.
*Dogs under 40 pounds have an additional $60 charge.
The Pet Connection offers adopters 10 day pet insurance, microchipping, dog obedience classes, and cat scratching posts for a reduced fee.
