Meet Lidy, a 6-year-old female Labrador/Mix who came to the shelter as a stray. Weighing in at 78 pounds, Lidy is an incredibly friendly and affectionate pup. She loves food and is smart too-she knows sit, shake, lay down, and speak! Lidy is eager to say hi to everyone she meets and has been rated a 10/10 great dog by our team. Volunteer Anita describes Lidy as "a sweetheart who adores playing fetch and loves getting pets and rubs." Lidy is ready to bring joy and companionship to her new home. Lidy is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, flea and parasite treated and is microchipped. Lidy will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along.
