Licorice

Licorice is a 1-2 yr old small black dog, about 15 lbs, mannerly, good with other animals (including cats) and very loving. She appears to be housebroken or close to it. Licorice is a little fearful of big dogs and new situations and might startle easily, but she spends most of her time wagging her tail and standing on her hind legs to beg. As you can see from the pictures, she is just about shameless when it comes to french fries, but of course, they are not good for little dogs. Licorice might do better with older children, or calm children, just because she is a little nervous around new people and sometimes gets startled.

For the $70 adoption fee, this animal has received rabies shot and heartworm test if old enough. It has also received puppy shot, worming, and spay/ neuter--and sometimes a considerable investment of services and treatments.

We set up at our new location on 50 Railroad Street, Sylva, NC every Saturday from noon until 4 or 5 PM. You can also view animals by making an appointment with the foster parent. Get approximate directions from your location.
