This lovely lady is Lexi! Lexi came in as a stray so her past is a mystery, but that's okay because she's looking towards the future and all of the new friends she will make! Lexi seems to be a fairly young dog, and is estimated to be just under a year old. This party pup isn't afraid to get a little sassy and demand attention and will happily soak up all the love she can get. She still has a lot of puppy energy and enjoy playing with toys- but is likely to destroy some of them. Lexi was a very good girl for her vetting and took treats gently. She was a bit shy when being introduced to other dogs on leash, but did sniff all of them politely. She would likely benefit from a friendly but respectful dog pal to be her friend. If you want Lexi's love brightening up your home come visit her! Lexi is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
