My Story

This good looking young lady of about 3-4 spent the last two years of her life being a part of a pack of dogs. Previous to that time, she was a well socialized, sweet and loving little girl. She temporarily lost sight of what her life used to be like after becoming a pack animal so we have been working with her to bring those good memories back. Lexi is trying hard to not fear people now that she is in a one on one situation and we have been slowing reintroducing her to more and more people as time has gone by. We are very proud of her progress and it is more than obvious that she is going to be that sweet girl that she was before! She acts almost completely normal with her foster Mom - happy, bouncy, wagging her tail and accepting affection, while giving some in return now too! She is going to need a very special person that will be understanding to her fears and willing to help her through them. If you are that person, please visit our homepage at www.spcaofmc.petfinder.org and fill out the online application. Lexi has been spayed, is current on all her vaccinations and appears comfortable with holding her needs until she can go outside to relieve herself.
