Name: Lexi Best Guess for Breed: Cocker spaniel mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of August 2024 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 20 lbs Gets Along With: Lexi does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog. We haven't seen her with cats but she can be tested. Lexi is shy and due to her shyness, we would be cautious placing her in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant. Currently Living at: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here! Special adoption considerations: Lexi comes from a commercial breeding operation and has never lived in a home before. The breeding operation has been shut down, and this adorable pup now has the chance to learn what its like to be a real dog. She hasn't experienced enough of the world and is shy. She needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show her how to dog!
