Meet Leia! A 6yr old, petite Shepherd/Pittie mix. We fell in love with Leia at the shelter, timid & shivering due to a leaky faucet in her kennel. Her nails were so long they were almost curling over, it was clear she had not been properly taken care of for a while. Overlooked by everyone walking past her kennel having similar features to so many other dogs there, we knew we couldn’t leave without her. Leia is a sweet & gentle soul. Once she warms up to you she loves to cuddle. She also loves food and is enjoying going for walks and playing with balls. She is potty trained, crate trained, and just the perfect mellow girl. Leia currently lives in a home with a cat and is doing well. Her ideal home should be calm for Leia to relax & enjoy a zen life in her adult years. She's done well with the kids she's interacted with, We found Leia cold and afraid, and we aren’t letting her go until we find our girl a home she deserves, filled with warmth and love!
