Leela (Pluffy)

Meet Leela!!! Leela is a 4 year old Pug that was surrendered to Zoe's House. She was living outside which is no good for any dog, let alone a smushed face pup. She came to us with a ruptured eye and needed surgery right away. Our amazing vet completed surgery to remove her eye and Leela has been doing great since. This sweet pug wants nothing but love. She loves to be snuggled and can't get enough pets. She gets along great with all the other dogs in her foster home. You can even find her sleeping under a bed with one of the cats. She will follow her people around and beg for attention. She is crate trained and walks nice on a leash. She has done great with potty training, and has only had 2 accidents in the house. Leela is UTD on vaccines, altered and on preventatives. She is all recovered from her surgery and is ready to find her forever home. Her new family should know that she has chronic dry eye and will need drops/ointment applied daily for life. She also has a bum hip. After we completed x-rays we found that her one hip never formed properly. She is on medicine for this and has been doing great getting around. She will follow you up and down the stairs. A home with little or no steps would be best for her long term.
