Leah is a purebred English Setter, just under a year old. We rescued her from a rural pound. She is only 18 inches tall and weighs about 30 lbs. Leah is so sweet and friendly, very gentle both w/ dogs and people. She is playful and energetic. She knows how to sit on command, walks nicely on a leash, loves to "hang out" w/ our canine family. When we got her, she was absolutely emaciated, just so incredibly thin .... every single rib stuck out, even her hip bones pointed out thru her coat. But she has a great appetite -- now that she has been wormed and vaccinated, she will start to fill out. Leah has a soft, beautifully feathered coat, mostly white w/ black and tan freckles (tri colored.) *** Like for all our adoptions, especially for young active dogs, we will require a securely fenced yard for her safety and well being.
