Larry is currently with our partner rescue in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ on our next transport. We do offer a foster-to-adopt program to our approved applicants. Larry is a described as a friendly, energetic boy who loves to play! He was found with 2 siblings as strays and both sibs have been adopted. Larry is still waiting for his furever! Larry is super sweet and playful and has a good amount of energy. He loves to play with other dogs and with his human foster family. Larry can be a bit much for the younger daughter in his foster home (4) at times but does well with the older boy (9) so older kids are probably best. He needs a little work on basic manners and perfecting housebreaking but overall he is doing well with training. Having a family that can work with him on training and more one on one attention would surely help his progress. Larry is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
