THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND... LARRY! Introducing Larry, a big 'ol 7-year-old whose love is even bigger than his size. Now this chunkster has had one hell of a story! Larry is no new soul to the shelter and unfortunately his guardian, a community member, had unexpectedly passed away and Larry has once again found himself in the quiet desert of our animal shelter. His owner had lovely traditions with this sweet boy, including going on very fun fishing trips! So for all those fishers, our larry is your guy! Larry has been one smart cookie here at the shelter being absolutely a genius at sitting and laying down when told to. As well as a little fun secret is Larry LOVES his belly rubbed! Once petted Larry will flop right onto his back and expose his soft full belly to be instantly petted. Now despite Larry age, he is still an excellent student when we do our nosework and hide treats to have Larry sniff them out. He may get distracted by his love of people but this boy quickly focuses and gets back to work. In Larry old home, he enjoyed the company of kids! This sweet guy is definetely a family man! So get to it and head on over! Larry is waiting for his forever second family! Larry's adoption fee is waived in hopes it will help us honor the wishes of the family to find a loving home.
