Meet Lance, our adorable bundle of Spitz playful energy. Lance was born 4/08 and came to us on 12/08 from a shelter in Milwaukee where he was found as a stray.
Lance has not had much handling, so we are recommending he go to a home with children over 12. He's a good boy, but at only 9 months old is still all puppy. Lance is super smart, but like any Spitz will try to test his limits, so he will need someone who can stay one step ahead.
He would love someone to take him for long walks or even go jogging with. With this kind of exercise, he'll be content to snuggle in at night, probably on your lap! Lance is currently at the rescue and enjoys his playtime with other dogs, however his history with cats is unknown. At the shelter we did try introducing him to a cat, and at the moment he seems to think they are wonderful interactive chew toys.
If you have the energy to keep up with Lance, and are looking for a pal to go walking, jogging, or hiking with, come meet him at Petsmart on Saturdays from 10-2.
Important InformationMost dogs & puppies will be available to meet each Saturday from 10-2 at Madison's eastside PETsMART. You will be able to meet the dogs by appointment as well.
COST: Adoption Donations: Adult Dogs (over 1 year of age) - $175
Puppies (under 1 year of age) - $250
Both Adult dogs and Puppies have a required $50 deposit ontop of the adoption donation that will be refunded to the adopter after the proof of a completed training class with in 4 months of adoption.
The fee includes all vet care such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, Microchip,heartworm test, heartgard, frontline, grooming and any other vet care needed to be sure each animal is ready for adoption.
