This is Lake, I picked him up off the side of the highway. This pretty boy was making a living out of a road ditch in Lake Providence, LA, hence his name. I stopped two lanes of traffic and brought him back home. He is very calm and would be wonderful with children. He sits and leads. He is also good with other dogs. He started out very shy and has gradually gotten more confident. As best I can tell he is still under a year old, he continues to grow and is all legs right now. We suspect he is a bird dog of some kind. He is calm, sweet, and submissive and he likes to talk to you. I have been told he is a bird dog but he is a lazy one if he is. We currently have two dogs and really can't keep him but I don't want him to go hungry. I call him Lake and he leads well.
