LadyBug is a young girl who lived on a reservation in Manitoba. She is about 12 lbs and about 2 years old.
One day she was attacked by large dogs, and because of her injuries she lost the use of her hind legs. Because of her injuries, she is also incontinent and requires bladder and bowel expressions. This means she cannot be house broken.
Expressing her bladder is really easy and it has to be done around 3 times a day. We can teach you how!
She's a vibrant personality. She's happy and fun! She loves cuddling with her humans and loves affection. It does take her some time to warm up to new people though, so please don't let strangers approach her without allowing her the time to feel comfortable with them. Ladybug is NOT a fan of little people, so please no children now or in the future for this girl, no exceptions.
Because she's paralyzed, she does have wheels to go for walks! And she loves riding in the wagon on nice days.
She's the sweetest girl and everyone loves her once they get to know her! She is totally fine with dogs her size or slightly bigger, using controlled introductions. She should be kept in a separate padded area when you're not home so she can't hurt herself. She is food possessive regarding high value food and treats (with other dogs, not with humans). So please don't leave any high value items lying around when other dogs are near. She's good with our cats too.
Because Ladybug was attached by large dogs, she is uncomfortable being around them. Please no homes with large dogs..
