Val, AKA Valentine AKA Lady (can you tell this girl needs a 'forever' name?) is a 3 year old, 40 pound mix with the markings of a Shepherd. She was a stray who lived in the forest prior to being rescued. At this point, she is well-socialized to living in a home and is doing great! She is a dominant girl who wants to be the head of the pack so either needs a home with a submissive dog or with no other dogs. She loves going for leash walks and watching squirrels. She is good with children but will chase cats. She constantly gives affection and asks for affection. She is a real 'nuzzler' who will be a great companion. In her photo, she is kissing her foster dad. The only reason he is making a face, is because he had been napping on the bench and had just woken up thinking his wife was kissing him and it was the dog! She is housebroken and crate trained. Her foster family in the south has greatly enjoyed fostering this wonderful dog. Adoption fee $350

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
