Hi! My name is Lady and I am from Missouri. From the foster: Lady is a very Sweet Cute girl who is trying to be braver every day! I feel Lady does need another dog preferably close to her size as she definitely perked up when she is around them. When I first brought her home, I've noticed she follows their lead. Right now, I feel that Lady also needs a physical fenced yard as she is not leash trained and does freeze if you try to walk her. We are currently working on having her go through the door to my fenced backyard and she is getting better with that. Lady has discovered how fun toys are recently and she likes to carry them around, She also likes treats and soft ones are her favorites. Lady is working on her housetraining and crate training with lots of Positive reinforcement and being on a schedule. Lady is enjoying being a loved family member and she is soaking up all the love and I have even received a kiss! Lady will need a patient loving family that will continue showing her that humans and the world can be a good place. Are you ready to Welcome Lady into your heart and home? From the Vet: This is Lady! Sweet Senior gal who has had a journey of illness that we needed to figure out. Ultimately it was determined that Lady has IBD and her symptoms are currently managed on a medication called Tylosin and a special diet. We ruled out other diseases such as Addison's along the way, but her future family will still want to schedule a visit with their veterinarian shortly after adoption so she can remain on her medication and diet and receive any care as needed. We hope she can find her forever home and be spoiled rotten during her remaining years.
