This is a kissy-face, love monster alert! Meet Lacey! She is a perfect match for a fun and active family. Just 13 months old and 45 pounds, this pretty blue brindle is sweet, playful, and affectionate. The Medfield Animal Shelter staff are taking good care of her, but she’s eager to join a forever home. Lacey has a long list of things she loves to do, such as swimming, playing with toys, hiking, and playing with other dogs. She would actually do well in a dog sport. Her ideal family is active and willing to exercise her regularly and provide training. Lacey has a lovely temperament with no behavioral issues; however, she needs leash work so she won’t pull when walking or bite at her leash. She is smart, so you’ll find her a joy to work with. Lacey is a sociable girl who’s great when meeting new people and reportedly great with kids. She loves other dogs and has enjoyed playing with a poodle mix who is also at the shelter. She has no experience with cats or other animals. For a dog who likes being part of the action, Lacey is finding kennel life very trying. She whines a lot when left alone. After being surrendered with sores on her neck from e-collar use, it's about time Lacey gets a loving home where she is respected and nurtured.
