L'il Dickens-adopt

Li'l Dickens is such a quiet dog, we had to put a bell on his collar so we know where he is! He is very good in the crate, travels well in the car and the boat. He likes to sit in the bow and let the wind blow in his face. Li'l Dickens is eager to meet new dogs immediately and readily introduces himself to children. He's fine when meeting women but hangs back a little when meeting men. It does not take him long to warm up at all! Likes to be petted, massaged and rubbed. You can handle him while he's eating. He walks very nicely on the leash. He really enjoys his walks, but overall doesn't require a lot of exercise.

This wonderful little sweetheart of a guy is the easiest dog we've ever had to foster! If you are looking for a super little fellow, then please fill in the application!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
