Kuma isn’t sure about this whole “shelter” thing. It’s loud, and people are always coming and going and it’s unsettling! He does have a few safe volunteers he is comfortable with, and they tell us that he can be a very friendly boy! He’s still getting used to receiving affection, but he’s making headway in that department.
He has a lot of energy, so an active family committed to regular walks, training of basic life skills, and other activities will be essential. A home without any other pets would be best, and if there are children in the home they should be older or dog-savvy kids who understand Kuma’s special needs.
