My Story

Meet Krin! This little boy was born to a litter of 11 on October 30/09. He is Macrees pup if you have been watching the New Hope home page. Guessing what breeds these pups are is quite the fun game. We have guesses of lab, beagle, rottie, terrier, newfie, and spaniel so far! .Krin is an adorable puppy who loves to cuddle. If you are sitting on the floor, he never fails to climb into your lap and make himself comfortable...even if that means stepping all over his brother until he gets the spot closest to you. He is smart, and knows exactly who is responsible for feeding him...he will follow his caregiver around just waiting for an opportunity to get held and petted. Krin's favourite activity during playtime is chewing up toys...and despite his size he loves to tackle the biggest toy bone we have (which is almost twice his size!). He also has no reservations about wrestling and playing with his brother who is considerably larger than him! Brave puppy! Krin will be a wonderful addition to a loving home! Note: These pups were exposed at a very young age to adenovirus. They are happy and healthy but do have a remote chance of still shedding the virus in their urine. We are cautious and ask that they not be exposed to other dogs that do not have their normal vaccinations, at least for the next little while. There is no risk to humans or vaccinated dogs. Our veterinarian would be happy to consult with you about any questions or concerns regarding these little darlings.
Adoption Application
NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
