My Story

*****ADOPTED***** Korky was returned to rescue by her adoptive family because of potty issues. Apparently she was nervous and anxious about her new surroundings and showed her feelings through messes in the house. Korky is a really sweet girl and had no problems at all in foster care. This sometimes happens when placing dogs from rescue so we're not surprised to see her return.

Since being back in her foster home, there's been no problem with the potty issue as long as Korky is crated when you're not there or home or she is confined to a single room. She goes outside with no problem at all. Korky may even be ok in the whole house but we haven't tested her on that yet.

Korky loves to cuddle, go for walks, lay next to you while watching television, and just be your little buddy. She would rather sleep with you in bed than be in a crate but will tolerate a crate when you have to leave the house for a little bit.

Korky needs someone or a family who will shower her with love and attention. She likes to be the center of attention and will shower you with all her love in return. Her potty issue can be controlled when in the right environment. Can you provide that special home for her?

For more information on Korky or to apply to adopt her, please send us an email and ask for an application. We do consider adopting to families with young children and we do know Korky loves kids! We prefer a fenced in yard but Korky also does well on a leash and loves to go for walks.
