My Story

This is Koda, the "gentle giant" - a Great Pyrenees - about 1 year old, leash trained and weighs about 150lbs.He was neutered at the PPAW Clinic and has been wormed and received his 1st year shots. He is white with brown markings and he is a very large, loveable, goofy dog. If he can fit, he will crawl into your lap. He has a doggy door so he has free access to the yard and to the house. He is an indoor dog but loves to be outside playing in the leaves, in the mud and playing ball and a Frisbee with you. he is very goofy and he is house broken through the doggy door. The current owner didn't realize how big he would be and the house isn't big enough for him. He needs a very large fenced yard and large house to call his home. He is very sweet and loves attention he just needs more space and a family that will play with him a lot. The current owner requires that he NEVER be chained or tied up to a tree somewhere - he would go crazy. He needs a bigger house and a larger yard than his current owners can provide. He needs a family that understands them and can deal with his size. He is still pretty young and he does chew- he needs to be given chew toys and that prevents him from chewing things he shouldn't. Please contact Karen at 865-963-7322 to make arrangements to meet Koda. Adoption will be through the PPAW Spay/Neuter Clinic Dogs, like all mammals, engage in play as youngsters and continue to do so even after they have grown up. Play is a complex learning activity that helps puppies develop social relationships and helps them hone their physical and mental skills. But it is also fun, which is why adult pets continue to do it. You can spend many enjoyable hours just watching with amusement as your dog plays. But interactive play is best. How the two of you play together is only limited by your imagination. Visit our website: www.ppaw.us Our adoption fee is $65 (cash, credit or debit card only-no checks)-we are a non-profit organization and we do accept donations. We always need Purina (only) Cat and Kitten Chow, clumping cat litter, bleach and paper towels. All animals are spayed/neutered, wormed and up-to-date on age appropriate shots, prior to leaving our facility. PPAW is a low cost Spay/Neuter clinic; we are not open every day
