Knightly

Knightly is a 11.5 year old male Weimaraner who is urgently looking for a new home. Knightly is a very relaxed and loving boy. He was adopted earlier this year and now his person must move and can't take Knightly with him. He was previously at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah where he ended up after his lifelong human Dad passed away. All he wants is a forever home with a loving family to spend his Senior years. He likes to stick close to his person when out for walks or hikes. He is in very good condition for an 11.5 year old and doesn't show any signs of arthritis or dysplasia. He has several fatty tumors which is normal for his age. Knightly is very well behaved and listens for the "OK" before leaving the car, house, etc. - he is a perfect gentleman. He is OK with cats, friendly with people and kids, but most at ease with kids over 8 years of age. He will growl & posture for guarding, but he has no aggression. Knightly loves bones and toys, likes to cuddle on the bed, and is playful. He can be goofy - he likes drinking out of a water bottle and gets into his back scratches in the grass. He takes treats gently, knows "sit", "stay", "down", and "paw". He is also very good in the car and would prefer not to be in a crate. Knightly bonds quickly with people and needs a person who will love him and let him love them for the rest of his life. Knightly is updated on shots and neutered.
