KIZZY (Spayed!)

MISS PRETTY KISSY FACE and her sister arrived at the shelter in mid May 2024 and were listed as German Shepherd mixes about 4 to 6 months of age. They are high energy puppies and, like so many dogs at the shelter, they spend a lot of their day time energy trying to leap up to see over the side of their kennels into the kennel adjacent to them. They just want to say hello to the other dogs. It can be exhausting watching all of the dogs trying to do this! Thanks to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, this young lady was selected to participate in a sponsored spay surgery on Tuesday, July 2. As a result, she will be able to go home the same day that she is adopted. Adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! that includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt this girl. Even better, take a dog crate to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
