Kiva

This gorgeous girl is Kiva. She is a 3-year-old pure Bernese Mountain Dog and weighs 68 lb. Kiva is a typical Bernese Mountain Dog who loves to do anything as long as it's with people. This sweet girl has lots of energy to go around and would love an active home where she can get out on hikes or walks to explore and play with toys at home. She does not quite have leash manners so an able-bodied person who feels confident to handle her size is ideal. She also likes to lean when being pet and could accidentally knock somebody off balance. Kiva would do great with children of all ages and would love to have a dog friend in the home to play with. We don't know what she thinks of cats, but can "cat-test" her if needed. Kiva is showing some low level signs of anxiety at the shelter, such as pacing and panting, so we want to get her out of the kennels and into a forever home asap. She will need a little time to adjust to her new home and get comfortable. Kiva will be so relieved to feel safe and loved. Kiva is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy.
