Kirby

Kirby is part of a litter of 5 baby chihuahua's. Their mother was rescued with 75 other breeding chihuahua's. The 75 dogs were living in the breeder's basement in horrible conditions.

Kirby weighs 1 pound 3 ounces 5 1/2 weeks old. He is the quietest of the and is happy to snuggle with his mom and watch his siblings play. Kirby loves to be held and snuggle.

The puppies will be ready in 3-5 weeks. We will be spaying and neutering these puppies prior to them leaving for their new homes as long as they are at least 2 pounds. They are being vaccinated and dewormed as age appropriate. No children under the age of 12 and a fenced yard is preferred.

Her adoption donation is $200. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
