Hi there, my new name is Kirby. I was lost and wandering the streets when dog catcher snagged me. I waited in the shelter for my owner, but no one came. Two different people placed an adoption hold on me at the shelter, but both decided not to take me. I was so sad and not feeling very well. Thank goodness WROC was waiting in the wings to scoop me up and take me home.
I am a darling 1 1/2 year old, 17 pound neutered male. I have a beautiful wiry coat and will be absolutely stunning when I get my makeover. I love to walk in the park and I give the greatest kisses. I ride well in the car and will sit in your lap for as long as you will let me. I have all my shots and am microchipped. Are you my forever home? I am happily waiting for you. Our rescues are placed on PetFinder and our website at www.WestieRescueOC.com. All of our rescues are fostered in private homes throughout California where they receive medical care and rehabilitation. Not all of our rescues are posted until they are ready for adoption as all rescues are evaluated by their foster home over a 3 - 4 week period (sometimes longer). When we place a rescue, we try to do everything we can to make this transition their very last.
