Kinsley! Interesting story: We met Kinsley a few months ago, back in the fall. When the individual who found her as a stray had temporarily taken her in and reached out for placement help. The shelter was full and she preferred trying to find her an alternative and not put her at risk. We sat in the parking lot by the town clock and chatted for a good hour. I explained to her that I would happily help but we needed some vetting info on her. We offered to assist by sponsoring her vetting and spay through Because Of Roscoe. Provided a voucher and told her to get back in touch once that has been complete. Sadly, she never took us up on the offer and fast forward to January, this girl was picked up as a stray. ? I was there that day at the shelter when she was brought in and recognized that pretty face immediately! Kinsley did great with her meet and greet with a young, energetic male pup, playful and bouncy. She was not a fan of a female dog we introduced her to. She was on guard and defensive. I do plan on trying her with a different female but for now, she would do best with the opposite gender- a male dog. No kitties!
