My Story

6/29/07 - Killian lives in Putnam, CT and was purchased by her boyfriend. He is two years old, not neutered, is housebroken, lives with an older dog and a cat, and is good with teens. Mary couldn't tell me how he is around small children. She said he has a sweet and lovable temperament. He did start jumping the fence so she has to put him on a run while she works now. He has been crate trained but has not been in one recently. She would like to keep him but now that her boyfriend has left, she has to work long hours to afford the house she just bought. The older dog is fine on these long days but she understands that as a youngster, Killian deserves more attention and activity. He walks at your side on a leash but takes off when the leash is removed. She said he never has gone out of the neighborhood when he got loose...(like most dogs his age, he obviously needs recall training. He would have to b e neutered within 30 days of adoption. An application, vet reference, home visit and a drive to CT a must to meet our dogs! Adoption fee required. To find out more about the Irish Setter breed, click here.
