KIERA. This little beauty is Kiera, and she is a very loyal and affectionate five year old. She was found as a stray and turned into a shelter before being rescued by IDR. While she is good with other dogs in a social setting, she does not seem to want to share your attention at home, so she would be best as an only dog. When she stayed at a home with another dog, she came in and took over. She would get very vocal with him, steal his toys and chase him off. Kiera loves kids, but I would suggest kids 7 and up. She is housebroken and can go a full work day, She does love to sleep in bed with you and will stay there all night if you let her. She is crate trained and housebroken. Kiera understands sit, down, come and stay commands fairly well. We have been training her on a leash with the prong collar and she does great, but tends to pull you along without it. Kiera is one of the sweetest dogs I've come across, but will need lots of attention. If you have the time to give her, she will love you for it. Email Pam at [email protected]Adoption Application
