Ketza ADOPTED

Ketza was about to be euthanized at the county shelter when she found herself abandoned there, and with space at a premium, senior dogs are the first to get put down. We couldn't let that happen to such a nice girl, who surely deserves to live out her golden years in love and comfort. And so a foster home was found, thanks to a wonderful family, and she was recently crowned "Queen Ketza" by the family's daughter, and a photo session was arranged. She is royalty for sure, and has earned the right to be treated like a queen for the rest of her life! Sadly, her past was not so nice, as it appears that she was used as a breeding dog non-stop, until she could no longer produce puppies, and was then discarded.She has been extensively vet-checked and was found to be in good health. She is about 10 year old, but very much able to walk, run and hop into an SUV, so this old lady is not by any means showing her age. She is, however, calm and mannerly in the house, and just loves other dogs. She has bonded very much with her sister Carly, the black lab in the other picture with her. The two were taken out of the same shelter on the same day, and though they didn't come in together, they have bonded like long lost sisters, so ideally, we'd like them to go together, but it's not required. Carly is 7 years old and also in excellent health! Won't you give this wonderful senior girl a second chance at a good life?
