Keno

Keno came into the rescue as a very scared shut down puppy. He is learning and loves to be with his people. He is crate trained. He is not a big barker only when his fosters dogs bark in the am he will bark. He is typical small dog thinking he is a big dog when it comes to other dogs. With a slow introduction and time, he does warm up to dogs in the home. He has been around a very mellow small dog in his foster, and he has learned to be nice and share with her. He gets along with the larger dog in the home, but he too is a very mellow dog. He never had a leash or harness on, and he is learning very well with this. He does best walking him outside to use the bathroom as he always wants to be with you when you are home. Keno loves to cuddle with humans and likes all people except small kids. We recommend older kids 10 plus in age. There is a toddler in the home he loved at first and then decided he was too hyper for him he gets over excited and wants to nip at the toddler. He is a sweet boy that needs to be shown love and given time to realize he is safe. Are you that family for him? He feels safest with woman only. He was adopted by a wonderful patient guy and it did not work out. This is how we found out.
