Keely

Keely is approximately 2 - 3 years old in these pictures taken January 16, 2010. What a sweetheart she is. Keely gives little kisses and wants to be as close as she can when she is sitting by you. At the vet's office, she puts her paws up on your lap and her head in your lap or will raise it towards you. Keely does jump up on people but is gentle about it. She loves to go for walks but is not fond of going for car rides. She let the volunteer know how unhappy she was being in a kennel by howling, barking, and crying while she waited for her turn to go into the vet's office. Her howl sounds very much like a hound's. Maybe that is what she is mixed with?

Oh how Keely loves to play with the other dogs and run in the yard. It is a lot of fun watching her, Marley, and Olivia run around the play yard going ninety to nothing chasing each other and such. But she really prefers being with people.

Keely was turned over to LP in January 2010 by a lady who took her away from a family member that was not taking care of her or her puppies. Another shelter took the pups but did not have the room for an adult dog.

Keely was spayed, given her rabies, and tested for Heartworms, Lyme, and Ehrlichia on January 20, 2010. She was negative and is on HW prevention.
