Kaylee

Kaylee is a little doll and a bundle of energy who hasn't met a person or a dog she hasn't liked. She is a 10-month -old terrier (We think Jack-Russell) mix and likes to snuggle in your lap, but since she isn't allowed on the couch she doesn't get to very often. She is learning to love to swim and is a great retriever, as long as she doesn't get distracted! She is crate trained, and has learned that she can't come out unless she sits and stays. She does well off leash as long as there aren't any cats! She has basic training and would do great at agility, Frisbee, or fly-ball. She loves to tug, wrestle and chase, even with big dogs. She is learning that biting and mouthing aren't OK. She is also working to learn that when big brother says "leave me alone" that he means it. She has attended PetSmart training, and knows about 10 commands well.

Kaylee can be rowdy, and doesn't like it when things are held in someone's arms above her, so she may not do well with small children in the house. She will not do well with cats or small dogs like mini's, due to a strong hunting instinct, so no cats. She is quick to learn and does very well with clicker training. She is very treat motivated, but likes to chase after a ball for her treat as well. She didn't even have to learn to be gentle when taking the treat!
