Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Meet Kay, a spirited and lovable 3-month-old bundle of energy. Despite weighing just 6 pounds, she can hold her own with dogs of all sizes, often darting under them to playfully nip at their ankles. When she's not romping with her foster siblings, Kay keeps herself entertained with her toys. Kay’s love for meals and snacks makes her easy to train with treat rewards. She’s just starting to learn leash walking, and though she's still getting used to it, she enjoys her strolls. Potty training is a work in progress, but she's making steady strides. In the evenings, Kay loves to curl up on your lap, quickly drifting off to sleep. She’s also crate trained, ensuring a smooth transition to her forever home. Kay is on the lookout for her perfect family, ideally with a furry sibling and a fenced yard where she can play to her heart's content. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs will be treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.
