Kano is a handsome and friendly boy who is well-socialized. He is about 5 years old. He likes pats and belly rubs, will give you his paw, and knows Sit, Down, Come, Shake and Stay. Kano is very strong and pulls hard on a leash, and can be a bit headstrong when outdoors. He is reliable in a fenced yard and usually comes when called (if he wants to!). He has excellent manners indoors and is housebroken. Kano is good in the car for short periods, but will become destructive if left for long. He does have some separation anxiety and will cry if left alone. Kano is good with other dogs, and is not possessive or aggressive.
Kano went mushing with Iris and Carol on Nov 19th:
"He is a large (60+ pounds) dog who is probably around 5 years old. He looks older than he is because of his greyish face. He is very sweet and gentle with people. A bit snippy with the dog beside him when we would stop, but I think it was more out of excitement to go again. He has a very nice gait, never trotted. Beautiful lope."
