Kaine

Kaine (aka Stinkey Butt) was surrendered to us on Tuesday. This dog was very, very loved by his family. Please read all the wonderful things his mama wrote about him, and help us get him out of the shelter. It was not an easy decision for this family, but she wrote this in hopes of finding his next home. He is at ??5001 Fred Wilson, El Paso, Texas, open 11am-6pm every day.

Kaine is 6 years old. He lived with newborn baby until she was 14 months and loved her and protected her. He was around kids from newborn to 12 years old, and loved all of them. He gets along with just about anyone. He doesn't like men with hoodies or aggressive men. He just loves to be loved. He does good with cats, but not mean cats. He's good with other dogs.

He's house trained and kennel trained. He has anxiety, and it will kick in since he is leaving me. I give him CBD for dogs. He's been crate trained since he was a puppy and can be kenneled up to 12 hours. He likes his space and will go to his kennel for bed.

He has never escaped home. He can jump high on command.

He likes to chew on toys and bones. If you take it from him, he tries to play. He is disciplined, he just gets hyper. He was raised like a human child, he knows better. But he is a dog. He responds like an in-trouble child, but he says sorry with licks and rubs.

He knows sit, stay, lay, come, leave it, get down, no, treat, drop it, outside, potty, relax, watch (alert/protection), he waits to eat (you tell him to eat and he does). Talk to him like a human.

He doesn't like being cursed at. I don't know how he knows but maybe it's the aggression behind it. I am a believer in Christ so I pray with him, anoint him, and he enjoys music.

He is afraid of vacuums and thunderstorms, bikes, and walkers for elderly people.

He is loving, friendly, a protector, full of energy and loves his owner. He likes to live a doggy dog life. He is allergic to chicken. He eats food likes Purina Pro Plan and Taste of the Wild. He loves steak and beef liver, and CBD for dogs.
