Introducing Kai, a sweet & gentle pup ready for his forever home. This affectionate boy was found as a stray on 7/24/24. Though initially timid, Kai quickly warms up with the promise of treats & gentle pets. He takes treats softly & will nudge your pocket for more, showing how quickly he learns to trust. Kai knows "sit, walks calmly on a leash, & loves head & shoulder scratches. His tender nature shines through as he leans in for kisses & enjoys being close to his human friends. While he has some irritated skin on his back which can make him a bit sensitive, Kai never escalates beyond a gentle step aside. He needs a patient & loving touch to help him feel safe & secure. He didn't budge until I offered him a treat. Once he saw something to eat, he came right up to the door. Kai was easy to leash. Once we got outside, he seemed a little timid for the first few minutes. The more snacks I fed Kai, the more comfortable he became. For an emaciated little guy, he took the treats gently. When I sat down closer to his level, he would lean in for pets and lick my face. Kai loved having his head and shoulders scratched.
