My Royal Subjects
My name is Kabir and I originate from the Kibble Kingdom along with my siblings.
Our kingdom is a small one, but it is a whimsical and imaginative place that is ruled by cats and dogs. In Kibble Kingdom, kibble is our currency of choice and all creatures embark on epic adventures.
Our epic adventure started in MS where we were born and spent the first 5 months of our life. On June 21st we started the next part of our journey North to the folks here at OPH. They have agreed to help us complete our journey and find our forever homes where we live out our dreams of a family of our own.
While we are waiting for our family to find us we will be in our foster home showing our foster family all of our traits and learning all about home life. Please check back and see how we continue to grow.
Some fast facts about me:
~ I'm about 5 months old
~ At my health check I was 34 pounds
~ I'm a Pointer mixed breed dog. Their is likely lab in my heritage but what else is up to you to discover.
~ I'm learning about home life such as crate training, leash walking and housetraining.
~ I'm neutered
~ I'm up to date on my shots
I hope to meet you soon!

Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door. OPH provides pet adoption services to families located in VA, DC, MD, PA and neighboring states. OPH is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% donor funded. OPH does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each pet before finding a forever home. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
