Heartworm PositiveI am heartworm positivebut you can still love me! My adoption fee is $250 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped. The rescue will pay for the injections for HW treatment at Shoreline Vet. in Jacksonville. My adopter would be responsible for the take home meds which average about $200, depending on size, over the 4 month span of treatment. Meet Jupiter, a lovable hound mix who loves being outside. This goofy and sweet girl loves sunbathing and exploring, so a home with a fenced in yard is a must. Jupiter is gentle and affectionate, always ready to give hugs. While she's wonderful with kids, she can get a bit too excited during playtime and may accidentally knock over smaller children. Jupiter isn't a fan of cats, as she loves to chase them, but she gets along well with other dogs! She's crate trained and mostly potty trained (sometimes one pee accident at night). Jupiter is quiet in her crate during the day but would prefer a cozy dog bed at night. She's making progress with leash training and would benefit from a loving home that can offer plenty of patience and possibly a professional trainer to help her master basic obedience. Jupiter is ready to bring joy and love into your home!
