Junie Is Available For Adoption! Juniper, aka Junie, is so sweet & kind. She's still very shy unless the other dogs are barking out greetings & she'll join in. She loves any attention & she flips over to show her belly for rubs every time we walk by her. She loves other dogs & she's just so excited every morning to see everyone. She coexists with cats if they're introduced slowly. She likes to sleep in a crate with an open door, but mostly just wants to be by us. She loves to run & play & swim in the pond next door!? She needs playtime, but she's calm just hanging out too. She's learned sit & stay. Junie is a joy to be with. She's sweet & snuggly at any moment of every day. She just wants to be loved. Her rescue story: Junie & her friend Gus were discovered on the side of a country highway. A 3rd dog was deceased in the ditch. They wouldn't leave her side.? A good samaritan noticed them at the same location two days in a row. She continued to visit them & feed them in that same location every day for a week while reaching out to rescues for help. That's where we came in.. the pups were moved to a loving foster home. They've been so grateful & loving. More about Junie.. Junie has a beautiful Merle coat & she appears to be an Australian cattle dog/catahoula mix. She's about a year old & approx 40 lbs. She has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, & microchipped. She's current on heartworm prevention & flea prevention.
