My Story

Julie is a sweet 6 month old puppy who is looking for her forever home. Julie has been spayed and is up to date with all of her shots, including rabies. Julie understands basic obedience commands like sit, stay, down and stand are all now firmly in place in Julie's repertoire. Julie is completely house and crate trained.

"Jewels" walks on a leash without pulling and she is always watching for that next command. She will sit as soon as you stop walking and will stay in a sit /stay postion for as long as you want her to. Julie has discovered birds and will flush out grouse and geese easily which she then she loves to chase and her recall is great, so she always comes back. Julie is an active dog, so daily walks are a must. She is happy to spend the time outside and is now comfortable in the house too. Julie has played with children and smaller dogs, and she really enjoys the company of her two large breed foster siblings.

Julie has been in her current foster home for two months and her foster family have come to love this little "diamond in the ruff "and we know you will too when you meet her! We believe that Julie would do better if she were to be adopted to a household with another dog. If Julie sounds like the dog for you fill out an adoption application and get to know her.

NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
