Meet Joyce: Joyce is about a 4 year old (as of February 2024) black lab/Golden mix (best guess) that weighs 48 pounds. Joyce was found outside tied to a tree during a snow storm. A wonderful volunteer spoke to the owner who surrendered Joyce and her crew, Jeffrie and Holli, to the rescue. Joyce is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Joyce is a sweet girl who does well with people and other dogs. When she has been around cats, she barks at them when they approach her kennel. Joyce was in a home that had children and she was good with them. Joyce is house trained and does a fair job on leash. We would love for Joyce to have a home with a fence so she can play and run freely. Joyce is up to date on her shots and spayed. Joyce did test positive for heart worms and completed her treatment.
