Joya

Just like her name suggests, Joya is an absolute JOY! She is a well mannered and quiet companion, who loves a daily walk and a few "zoomies" and then is content to nap by your side for the rest of the day. She'll just sit on your lap and rest her head on you and be perfectly content to stay there. Joya is 8, but you'd never know it. She loves to play with squeaky toys (any toys, really!), and loves playing with other dogs (however would be best with dogs over 20 pounds) She walks great on a leash, loves going for car rides, and is well potty trained-she'll rub on you like a cat when she wants to go. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption. At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to chose from at the shelter as well. Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.
