Joshua, called Josh, is a male Terrier mix pup, possibly mixed with Jack Russell though he has none of the characteristics of a Jack. Josh is around 8 mths of age and has his own story to tell. Josh was rescued from a family who left him tied outside to the mail box in the freezing cold, pouring rain, you name it. When confronted and asked about shelter for Josh, the man stated he didn't want him and he wasn't providing any shelter. Yea, we thought the same thing! He stated if the person was so concerned and cared so much, she could take him which is what she did. As she had no place to actually keep Josh for herself, she brought him to us, knowing we would find a home for him. Josh is very sweet and loving and is calm for a Terrier. If through his neglect, it has phased his sunny personality and ability to love people. That is what is so great about dogs! They never judge....just unconditionally love. Josh has the rough or wiry coat common to a lot of the Terrier breeds. And he is just too darn cute! Josh weighs 15 lbs or so and at 8 mths is full grown. He has short legs, making him a low-rider.
