Jordy is a 9-10 month old Lab with a true puppy-ish zest for life! He’s a sturdy, stocky handsome Lab who weighs about 65 pounds. Jordy came to us after a long shelter stay where his typical Lab puppy enthusiasm was misunderstood – “Guess I was a little too delighted to be out of that kennel when folks wanted to visit me . . . what’s a puppy to do who’s been cooped up!”
After we rescued Jordy we gave him lots of opportunity for exercise and structure and made sure he had the leadership a young Lab needs. And how this boy has blossomed! Jordy’s foster dad reports that this youngster is THE most wonderful dog he's fostered for us – even above all the other great dogs. He goes into his crate when he wants to snooze, walks great on the leash, and is friendly, fun and an all-around great dog. Jordy already knows sit and makes wonderful eye contract for a treat. In truth, he’ll pretty much do anything for a treat!
Jordy gets along well with other dogs who are as enthusiastic about play time as he is. He’s ready to play the day away! While he’s an energetic boy, he does have that endearing Lab trait of loving to be near you and wanting to do the right thing.“Hope you’ll visit me soon . . . I can’t wait to settle in with a true Lab lover like you who’ll take me hiking, swimming, teach me and love me!”
