Meet Jolene, Jolene had a negative heartworm test!!! She is officially done with treatment and now just needs to be spayed. Before spay we are going to do a holter test on her just to be safe. Jolene will have to stay on heart worm protection for the rest of her life but can live a completely normal life. She will need to be retested in 6 months as a precaution as well. Jolene is a super sweet girl that loves everyone she meets. She is good with kids and other dogs. As we have hoped with getting the puppies out of her system and getting her heartworm treatment completed her heart is doing a lot better.
